 Dr. Larry Moczygemba:


Larry is a San Antonio native, and graduated from Texas A&M in 1986.  Following graduation, he worked in a mixed practice for a year in south Texas, then was in a small animal only practice in Dallas.  His goal was to bring the quality of medicine practiced in the big city to a rural area and apply it to all species.  The original location was in a rented facility, and then the current location was established in 1992.  He obtained a masters in Beef Cattle Production Medicine/Epidemiology from the University of Nebraska in 2000, and is currently a member of the Academy of Veterinary Consultants (president), the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, Academy of Rural Veterinarians (co-founder), Coastal Bend Veterinary Medical Association, and Society for Theriogenology.

He, his wife Jane, and 2 sons Danny and Tommy have made south Texas their home until recently when the boys moved away. Danny is now a navy pilot stationed in Jacksonville, Florida flying the P8 Poseidon. Tommy is a 2013 graduate of Texas A&M in animal science.

 

 

Dr. Jessica Petzrick

Dr. Petzrick was born and raised in Southern California and spent six months at an equine internship at the 6666 ranch before going to vet school. She went to vet school on the island of St. Kitts where she graduated from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her clinical year at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, she worked at a rural, mixed animal practice in Haskell, Texas. There she spent three years practicing medicine and surgery on dogs, cats, horses and pigs. She is currently a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Petzrick and her boyfriend are currently renovating a house nearby, and when sh isn't at work or working on the house, she enjoys long range target shooting.

 

 


 Dr. Thomas Kellerman

 Dr. Kellerman is a native of Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation he joined a predominately equine practice  near St. Louis until he joined South Texas Veterinary Clinic in 2016. Dr. Kellerman's clinical interests include lameness, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and reproduction. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Farrier's Association, and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of work, Ted and his wife, Julie, enjoy taking care of their horses and two dogs.
